Parking Enforcement Officer (24 hrs/week with benefits)

The City of Santa Cruz has a great opportunity for you! Apply to join our Parking Enforcement team, working outdoors with the public and enjoying views of the beach and downtown Santa Cruz. We operate 7 days per week offering a varied schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. This position works 24 hours a week with pro-rate benefits. There may be opportunities to work additional hours when shifts are available and dependent on operational need. Under supervision, the Parking Enforcement Officer patrols assigned areas of the City to enforce parking regulations, municipal and vehicle codes; issues citations; maintains records and performs related duties as required.  

Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of public contact experience which includes customer service, basic computer skills, and a valid California driver`s license.
