Surgical Dental Assistant Opportunity at Mosa Oral Maxillofacial & Dental Implant Surgery.

A fast-paced well established multi provider oral surgeons office opening in Santa Cruz is seeking a full time surgery dental assistant.

Responsibilities include take x-rays, review of patients health history, completing consent forms, financials and treatment plans, set up rooms for surgery, assists chair side in surgery, sterilization of instruments, detailed oriented, knowledge of dental coding, computer literate, excellent communication skills, and a team player.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dental Assistant certification
• Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology
• Knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics
• Experience with 3D scanners and EMR systems, including SIDEXIS and DSN
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Familiarity with sterilization techniques and vital signs monitoring
