Wastewater Facilities Mechanical Technician I/II

The current vacancy is for Wastewater Facilities Mechanical Technician I/II in the Public Works Department. Under general supervision, the Wastewater Facilities Mechanical Technician I/I performs a variety of mechanical maintenance work in the Public Works Wastewater Systems division on the City's wastewater treatment plant, wastewater collections system, and remote facilities. The minimum qualifications for this position are a high school diploma or tested equivalent; one (1) year of mechanical experience that includes the routine maintenance of standard drive or manufacturing equipment such as motors and pumps; and a valid California driver`s license.
