Wastewater Laboratory/Environmental Compliance Manager

$11,622.00 - $14,981.00 Monthly

The current vacancy is for Wastewater Laboratory/Environmental Compliance Manager in the Public Works Department. Under direction, the Wastewater Laboratory/Environmental Compliance Manager plans and coordinates the activities of the wastewater treatment pollution control laboratory, including process control, and Environmental Compliance programs including the pretreatment and storm water programs, functions, and activities, to ensure compliance with City, State and Federal requirements: provides professional assistance to City management staff in areas of expertise; fosters cooperative working relationships with intergovernmental and regulatory agencies; perform other related duties as assigned. The minimum qualifications for this position are a bachelor`s degree in chemistry, bacteriology, water technology or a closely related field; three (3) years` experience in wastewater and industrial laboratory testing, analysis, and control; one (1) year of supervisory experience; and a valid California driver`s license.
