SUPERVISING NURSE I – WOMEN & CHILDREN`S SERVICES (Labor & Delivery)

Natividad may offer up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus to candidates hired into a permanent position.

Natividad is accepting applications for a permanent, full-time Supervising Nurse I position in Labor & Delivery.

The Supervising Nurse I position performs the full range of first level nursing and administrative supervisory functions requiring a knowledge of basic supervision, as well as of the nursing techniques and procedures used in the care of the category of patients treated in the unit. Such positions enforce hospital and nursing policies and standards and apply principles and recognized practices of nursing in supervising and providing professional nursing care to inpatients.

Requires possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the California Board of Nursing Education and Nurse Registration or the ability to obtain prior to start; graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a registered nurse; and a minimum of two years of nursing experience as an acute care registered nurse in the specific area(s) of patient care relevant to Labor and Delivery with at least one year of leadership/charge experience
