The City of Santa Cruz has current vacancies for Associate Professional Engineer in the Public Works Department: one assigned to the General Engineering division, and one assigned to the Sanitary, Storm Water and Refuse Engineering division. The eligibility list established from this recruitment may be used to fill other Associate Professional Engineer vacancies in the Engineering Division of the Water Department or other Public Works Divisions within the next year. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, three years of increasingly responsible professional experience in civil engineering or related field, including one year of supervisory experience, possession of Registration as a Civil Engineer in the State of California, and a valid California driver`s license. Registration under other Professional Engineering license types may be considered on a case by case basis as required by the position.
