As a day camp counselor you will lead epic games, wild water fights, and hilarious sing-alongs that kids will talk about all year. DATES: June 3 to August 7. Dates flexible for qualified applicants + time off for finals.

HOURS: 8:30am-4:30am Mon-Fri (weekends off) + bus ride chosen

LOCATION: 8205 Hacienda Lane, Soquel, CA (Santa Cruz Mountains)

PAY: $16.90/hr or about $6000/ten-week season

BONUSES:
$350 Lifeguard certificate
$35 CPR, 1st Aid, Mental Health 1st Aid

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate
Good character, integrity, and adaptability
Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Active listening.
Age-appropriate communication.
Emotional awareness.

Kennolyn has been family owned since 1946 on 450 acres of Santa Cruz redwoods overlooking Monterey Bay. Day Camp offers a wide variety of pre-programmed activities for grades K-11. Campers are assigned to groups of approximately the same age and grade and travel to each activity under the supervision of two group counselors. Activities run four days a week with Free Choice activities Friday morning, followed by an event that includes the entire camp.
