The County of Santa Cruz is seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Work Supervisor II to lead and support our Family and Children`s Services/Adult Protective Services teams. 

This role provides vital guidance to social workers, ensures high‑quality service delivery, and helps strengthen the well‑being of vulnerable children, adults, and families in our community. We are looking for a collaborative leader committed to equity, accountability, and empowering staff to make a meaningful impact.

THE REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain these knowledge and abilities would be: 

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE EQUIVALENT TO A MASTER`S DEGREE IN SOCIAL WORK OR A MASTER`S DEGREE FROM A TWO-YEAR COUNSELING PROGRAM FROM AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE, AND TWO YEARS OF SOCIAL CASEWORK EXPERIENCE COMPARABLE TO A SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER IN SANTA CRUZ COUNTY

Special Requirements: Positions in this class require a valid California Class C Driver License or the employee must be able to provide suitable transportation which is approved by the appointing authority.
