Monterey Credit Union (MCU) is looking for an experienced human resource professional with a minimum of 5 years in a senior level position. The candidate must have experience working with a senior executive team and will be comfortable and able to communicate effectively with all groups of staff to include, the Board of Directors. Currently, MCU has approximately 70 employees and the Vice President of Human Resources is the sole administrator for all the human resource functions. This position reports directly to the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have past work experience in a financial institution, preferably with a credit union, the ability to work independently. Must have expert skills and knowledge in all areas of Human Resources, to include; California Labor Laws, Payroll-Wage and Hour Laws, Benefit Administration, Employee Relations, and Training.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Education: Bachelors Degree and/or PHRca is preferred, however, equivalent experience in Human Resource Management may be considered.
MCU provides a very generous compensation package, including a competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD, 401K, profit sharing and a substantial time off plan.
There is no relocation package offered for this position.
