The Financial aid and Scholarship Office is conducting an open recruitment for a Business Systems Analyst. This is an indefinite Career, 100% time appointment eligible for full University benefits.
The Business Systems Analyst is a member of the office Systems Unit and reports to the Associate Director, Fiscal and Systems. The business systems analyst applies skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry-wide business process and analysis practices and organizational policies and procedures. Individual is responsible for developing and resolving a wide range of business process issues of moderate to complex scope in support of the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office within multiple software applications. Incumbent is expected to demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Day to day duties may involve process design, software development, implementing policy or procedural changes; creating specifications for systems to meet requirements; validating requirements against needs; designing details of automated systems; developing user interface design; planning and executing unit integration and end-user acceptance testing; may develop training materials for system implementation. Duties may span several software systems used to support the delivery of financial aid which include the Oracle/PeopleSoft Financial Aid Module, Perceptive Content imaging software, and Campus Logic Student Forms.
Applies technical expertise and business analysis concepts to identify, evaluate and define complex systems scope and objectives with an understanding of applicable business practices, processes, systems and industry standards to meet end-user needs.
