The Account Analyst serves as a Support Center liaison focusing on providing customer service to the campus community. This position primarily provides consultation and supports coordination of account processes and procedures for central ITS, and departmental and administrative application accounts.
Under the direction of the Support Center Operations Manager, the Account Analyst is a member of the Client Services and Support Team providing Support Center Identity Management services to the campus community. Support issues involve account management and provisioning, frequently asked questions regarding Identity Management services, user account migrations, Active Directory support, authentication and authorization, and policy interpretation assistance.
This position involves providing day-to-day advanced consultation, training, instruction and troubleshooting / problem-solving to the campus community, both technical staff and end users, for hardware, software, network and related computer systems, handheld devices and ensures their operation for individuals and groups of computer users. Analyzes, recommends, installs, configures and evaluates systems and tools for internal and end user use. The Account Analyst develops and conducts tests of systems and software and reports on configurations and behavior. The Account Analyst develops and provides technical documentation and training.
