Do you have experience in building facilities management? The County of Santa Cruz is seeking a Facilities Manager. The County of Santa Cruz is seeking to fill two vacancies. Facilities Managers are responsible for conducting studies and preparing recommendations for managing the use of space, equipment, and facilities at multiple sites throughout the county.  The incumbent will develop budgets and monitor expenditures for special projects and/or in conjunction with program management staff. One vacancy is in the General Services Department and the other is in the Human Services Department.

General Services Department – This position will supervise at least two Custodial Supervisors, manage the compliance, cleanliness, safety, space utilization, signage standardization and CERS.

Human Services Department – This position will supervise a Building Maintenance Worker II position. This position will also work closely with the department’s Emergency Planning unit to coordinate services and resources in the event of an emergency and will manage and oversee the safety and security of HSD facilities.
