Job Details

Responsible for the continuous general operation, maintenance, and repair of the buildings, grounds, and the utility systems of Spring Lakes Park Mobile Home (Senior Community). Includes all operation, upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting all utility systems, common landscaped areas, roads, walkways, lighting, spa and pool areas, park-owned vehicles, park equipment, and outbuildings. Supervises other park maintenance employees in completing assigned tasks.

Park Operations

• Identify and schedule maintenance tasks for park maintenance employees.
• Operate and maintain inventory of equipment, parts, tools and materials needed for Park maintenance.
• Keep informed of any temporary street closings, utility cutoffs or any other maintenance work that will affect residents.
• Report to the Park Manager and Management Committee on a regular basis about scheduled work progress and priorities.
• Assist the Park Manager and Office Manger as required to ensure ongoing smooth park operations.

Other Responsibilities

• Grounds and landscaping maintenance, working closely with the management committee.
• Maintain all utility systems
• Swimming pool and spa maintenance
• Lakes and well maintenance
• Miscellaneous maintenance; such as mailboxes, repair and maintain fences, regular upkeep of buildings.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• 8 to 10 years general facility maintenance experience.
• Clean DMV print out.
• Ability to reach, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for reading and responding to email work orders.

Skills and/or Training Desired

• Carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, and landscaping experience
• High School graduate
• Must pass background check
• English/Spanish speaker preferred
