AutoCAD/REVIT Professional in Monterey Area, Ryan Ranch Office Park

Sonics ESD is an Acoustical Engineering and Theater Design Firm, located in Monterey California. Currently we are seeking an AutoCAD & REVIT design professional, experienced in both Architectural & Engineering design. This position is responsible for preparing submittal packages of architectural, acoustical and mechanical drawings for projects. A qualified candidate will need to be able to operate independently, resolving and reconciling discrepancies between architect/engineering plans and project. Knowledge or interest in acoustics, sound and music, a plus.

Candidates should be able to:

• Handle complex designing and drafting assignments

• Create drawings and models in AutoCAD & REVIT from written and verbal specifications

• Complete project responsibilities within scope and schedule

• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy

• Maintain all revisions of project drawings

• Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team

• Participate in project meetings and conference calls as required

• Independently exercise excellent judgment as to important tasks, while always considering the customers` and company`s best interests

• Prioritize tasks among and between projects and communicate those priorities

Job requirements:

• Minimum 2 years CAD/drafting experience, preferably in both 2D & 3D Environments

• Ability to efficiently use current versions of AutoCAD & REVIT

• Efficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

• Knowledge of general construction practices is an advantage

• Experience with SketchUp, a plus

Compensation: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, the need is immediate, part-time will be considered, however, full time preferred.
